26 to face off at Junior Monarch Semis

26 contestants, including 13 young calypsonians and 13 soca artists, with one reserve contestant in each category. Notable contenders in the calypso category include Kenaz “Bit Bit” Walker and Eden “Potent” Murrell, who placed second and third respectively last year. Trinity Clarke, who placed second in soca last year, has switched to calypso this year.

The finals will be held on July 20 at the National Botanical Garden
