The Transport Board is the principal public transportation provider in Barbados, operating a fleet of buses connecting communities across the island. Beyond transit, the board manages vehicle licensing, driver’s licence examinations, and transport infrastructure development.

Bus Service: The board operates scheduled routes throughout all parishes, connecting Bridgetown, Warrens, Wildey, and parish towns from early morning through evening. Fares are affordable and daily passes are available.

Driver and Vehicle Licensing: New drivers must complete theory tests and practical driving assessments. Vehicle license renewals, insurance verification, and road-worthiness checks are managed by the board. Many services are available online.
