In the rain-affected second T20I match in Hambantota, the West Indies Women beat Sri Lanka Women by six wickets using the DLS method, leveling the three-match series 1-1. Afy Fletcher was instrumental, taking 4 for 23 to restrict Sri Lanka to 89/4 in 15.2 overs.

Chasing a revised target of 99 in 15 overs, Stafanie Taylor anchored the West Indies’ innings with an unbeaten 28 off 26 balls.

Hayley Matthews provided a strong start with 29 runs, and Aaliyah Alleyne sealed the victory with three boundaries in the penultimate over. Despite a strong opening partnership from Sri Lanka’s Vishmi Gunaratne and Chamari Athapaththu, Fletcher’s bowling stifled their progress, leading to a comfortable win for the West Indies.
