All-female section to hit the road!
By Kontact Band is offering an opportunity for women to participate in Crop Over celebrations while paying tribute to one of Barbados’ pioneering female entrepreneurs. Simone Arthur, owner of the Pampalam Barbados section, will run an all-female section for the second consecutive year. The section will accommodate 25 to 75 participants of all body types. Named after Rachael Pringle, one of Barbados’ early female businesswomen, the section’s theme is “Caribbean Folklore” and will feature costumes inspired by Pringle’s legacy as the “Regal Madam.”
